THE MURDER MYSTERY DEEPENS - De mystiska morden i Mystic Falls får Damon att påminnas av en liknande brottsvåg som skett ett århundrade tidigare. I tillbakablickar till 1912, minns Damon en vacker vampyr, Sage (gäst stjärna Cassidy Freeman), som visade honom ett helt nytt sätt att existera. Sheriff Forbes varnar Damon om att inte engagera sig utredningen, men Damon är övertygad om att hon misstänker fel person. Elena och Matt söker bevis för att bevisa att Dr Fell (gäst stjärna Torrey Devitto) är en mördare. Av skäl som enbart är kända för henne, blir Rebekah intresserad att lokalisera en av stadens äldsta landmärken. Äntligen får Elena en ny uppfattning om  den väg hennes liv har tagit, och Damon gör en känslomässig bekännelse till Stefan.

Grattis Zach, som fyller 27 år idag!

Nina fick en roll i den stora serien Boardwalk Empire, med tackade nej då hon inte var redo för nakenscenerna. 

"You know, I actually turned down something, because of the nudity, for Boardwalk Empire," she tells us when we asked about her thoughts on baring some skin.

"But I was really young at the time. I'd just finished Degrassi, and I wasn't ready for it. But I don't think there's anything wrong with it, and I think if you're immersed in a role and if it's appropriate for the role, I say go for it. You just have to find the right role. But I think nudity has to be tasteful and appropriate and not gratuitous."

So what was the mood like on the Entertainment Weekly cover shoot?

"Whether you're on set or on a photo shoot, those kinds of things—when there's a lot of people watching you—you have to be able to laugh. But they're always a little awkward, a little tense."

Det är många tankegångar kring om vad som kommer hända med Alaric!

Steven (Jeremy) hittade en hund förra månaden. Någon hade kört på den och lämnat den efter sig.
Söta Steven tog med honom och skjutsade honom till djursjukhuset.
Han var väldigt skadad men den sötaste hunden han någonsin träffat.
Efter en månad av letande efter ett nytt hem åt lillen, twittrar han glatt att Elvis äntligen fått ett nytt hem!
Gud vilken hjälteinsats av våran "favoritbrorsa".

Förra veckans

Ny publicerat på den officiella hemsidan: PaleyFest har meddelat gästen line-up för sin Vampire Diaries panel på lördag 10 mars, 07:00, på Saban Theater i Beverly Hills. Julie Plec , Nina Dobrev , Paul Wesley , Ian Somerhalder , Candice Accola och Matt Davis kommer att representera TVD och TV Guide Magazine Editor-in-Chief Debra Birnbaum kommer att avgå. (Hon var moderator vid Vampire Diaries panelen det senaste årets Comic Con i San Diego.)

Vilken är finast before or after?

Smallvillestjärnan Cassidy Freeman kommer snart att göra sin debut i Vampire Diaries, änsålänge är det inte så kännt om Mystic Falls senaste import... förrän nu.

Den styrande producenten Julie Plec avslöjade nyligen några viktiga detaljer om den nya, mystiska vampyren Sage, som hon beskriver som "tuff, sexig, dynamisk och rolig."

"Cassidy's karaktär är en vampyr vi möter i det sextonde avsnittet med titeln "1912". "Det är 100 år tillbaka i tiden, när Damon fortfarande var... den Damon som gick ut genom dörren i en huff av besvikelse och renlärighet när hans bror, Stefan, var utom kontroll i 1864."

Lägger till EP, "Någonstans mellan 1864 och [The Vampire Diaries] Pilot blev Damon den Damon som vi känner till idag och som vi älskar, och denna episod ger oss en liten inblick i det. Vi får också veta vad Sage hade att göra med det"

Jag kommer med tråkiga nyheter!
Nu kommer det även att vara en paus för oss som kollar i amerikansk takt.
Avsnitt 16 "1912" kommer att sändas den 15 mars, alltså kommer vi få vänta i en hel månad!
Med tanke på hur avsnitt 15 slutade, kommer det vara en jobbig tid att vänta...

Damon och Rebekah har ett "one night stand" för att lindra sin ilska mot Elena.


Elijha misstänker att hans mor, Esther, har något lurt pågång...


...så Elijha tar med Elena ut för att försöka få henne att avslöja Esther's hemligheter. Elena berättar om planerna för Elijha.


Han dumpar Elena i en grotta som gisslan.


Esther behöver Bonnie och Abby till hjälp för att döda sina barn. Hon kan bara utföra det om hon har Bennetthäxornas blodslinje.


Damon och Stefan träffar Elijha som vill göra en deal. Han hotar med att döda Elena om dom inte stoppar Esther.


Salvatorebröderna gör ett tappert försök att döda The Originals på egen hand genom att döda den yngsta brodern. Försöket misslyckades. Den enda alternativet som fanns kvar var att förstöra blodlinjen. Dom gör då Abby (Bonnie's mamma) till vampyr. 


Alaric övernattar hos Merdith. Han vaknar mitt i natten och går upp för en visit i köket. Han upptäcker massa spännande mappar av uppgifter om de mystiska morden. Där hittar han en mägnd avsöljande grejer...


...Merdith upptäcker honom. "You wasn't supposed to see this!" säger hon och avlossar ett skott.
 

Det var sammanfattningen av All My Children.
Det hände så otroligt mycket grejer och det är många funderingar nu... Vad kommer hända med Alaric osv.

Carla Day: Yesterday I had the opportunity to talk with "The Vampire Diaries" executive producer Julie Plec, if all events in Mystic Falls. Check out what she has to say about your favorite couples and what's to come for the rest of the season

Last Thursday, The Vampire Diaries, we met at last Original Witch and mother of the originals, Esther. She decided that she needed to correct the mistake she made so many years ago and killing her vampire child with Elena help. Tonight on "All My Children" we find out if her passport to kill them works.

I had the opportunity to interview executive producer Julie Plec, on tonight's episode and what's coming up for the rest of the season in Mystic Falls. She talked about whether all original drank the cup (which they did!) Stephen back humanity, Elena and Salvatore brothers, Caroline and her love life, the eventual return of both Jeremy and Tyler and a tease about the major story arcs for the remainder of the season.

Carla: Is Originals can play an important role in an upcoming Arc?

Julie: I can not really talk much earlier [tonight's Section] because we have announced that the ["All My Children"] Esther tries to wipe out his entire family, so I will not say much beyond that.

Should we believe in going into the episode that all the original children drank from their glasses?

Yes. It's not only what to believe, but that is what is true. I've seen some people speculating that Elijah did not
drink from the glass. But, no, he did. They drank it all right. They are linked.

Romance seems to be wrong in Mystic Falls right now. All couples have broken up. Will we see the couple get together or will they stay separate?

There is no joy in Mudville. No joy in Mudville. Now is a great time to be in love with Mystic Falls. There's a lot going on. It's been a lot of grief, a lot of chaos, a lot of tragedy. I feel as we move forward we begin to get out on the other hand, in small ways. The rest of the season will not be without some pretty heavy, huge, romantic moments across the board for all couples, even those who are perhaps struggling a bit.

Stefan seems to return to Stefan as we used to know and love. Is he still drinking blood or he comes out the other side?

Go into [tonight's] episode, the question is that we do not really know where he is at all. He is not really to be very forthright about it. Damon had speculated a great deal about the crumbling of the wall - as a power switch. Elena seems to have picked up the fact that Stefan goes out of his way to make her hate him. And he tried to disconnect her and no matter how hard she tries to get him to admit he really feels and that he has his humanity back in full working order. He is very fast to the story that he will not allow themselves to feel, even if he can, because it's too painful.

In the next few episodes, and as we go forward, it will really throw a lot of light on Stefan true state of mind. And we will begin to understand what makes him tick a little more and then start to see how it affects his relationship
with Damon and his relationship with Elena.

One of my favorite relationship dynamics is Caroline. She has played the field more than someone with Matt, Tyler and Klaus may now be interested in her. Will Caroline now has his own love triangle?

The Caroline character for us is really important that she is a girl who was rather weak and uncertain and very needy as a human being. And being a vampire really found her strength as a woman. One of the most fun things to see is how this girl who used to just want someone to choose her and put her first, now have several men who love her deeply. And Matthew loved her at one point. Tyler loves her. And also Klaus at early stages of this attraction in her and this interest in her. And I think the best thing to look at Caroline's going to be how she reacts to finally realize that she is a desirable human being hosted this love and what she wants. What does she want now? What will she want to later? Where is she will continue to change and grow? She has a long productive life ahead of her to figure these things out. Hopefully Knock on wood.

I think that Matt represented her was the very sweetness first teenage love. And what Tyler is left is what two people who went through the war together and went through hell and shared very similar dark, deep experience and come out the other side very restricted, lifelong bound to each other.

And what Klaus is representing the world outside of Mystic Falls, which she probably never even thought of, where Miss Mystic Falls competitions and Saturday night movies and chili cook-offs and all that matters in comparison to the beauty of the world as it is out there for her. And is she really, really grow up and become their own. And we will begin to see her decide what she wants out of life.

Is Jeremy officially gone or are there plans for him to return?

Jeremy is not officially gone. Jeremy is in Denver with family friends who live his life probably happily. Life gets interrupted. We are going to see him. We will definitely see him.

What can you say about the rest of the season?

The rest of the season is centered around some very specific stories. One of which is that we started telling the
audience that there is potentially a serial killer in Mystic Falls. The episode where we get back after the next little mini-break real dive right into the mystery and tells us, begins to give us a sense of what is actually happening and who's behind this remarkable traces of the bodies pile up. The villain and the mystery will be driving us towards the end of the season very hard.

As awareness among Elena, Stefan and Damon, the two brothers in love with the girl and the girl torn between her feelings for the two brothers must come to his own head. And that when all is said and done, Elena will have to figure out what it is that she wants.

At the end of the season, we have the return of Tyler and Jeremy, who will be coming back to Mystic Falls and
relationships and people who are very different than they left behind. There will be a lot to try and sort out what had become of this city in their absence.

Somehow, for a series packed with vampires, werewolves, witches, hybrids (and yes, even the occasional ghost), it’s a love triangle between two undead brothers, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley), and one very mortal girl, Elena (Nina Dobrev), that gets The Vampire Diaries fans the most riled up. (And judging from the chemistry in our cover photos, it’s not hard to see why. Check out collectors’ covers No. 2 and 3 after the jump.)

When executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec decided that they were finally ready for bad-boy Damon to share a legitimate kiss with Elena — after more than two years of build up — they knew it would have to satisfy two avid fanbases: those who wanted to see Elena get with Damon, and those who were still holding out hope for her to work things out with soul mate, Stefan.

“It’s one of those things that you want to be able to defend,” Williamson explains to EW. “But even more importantly, you’d rather not defend it. You want it to feel real and right and natural by all the audience.” Satisfying the “shippers” (a term used to identify fans who root for fictional characters to have relationships), is a challenge both Williamson and Plec have faced each time they’ve tried to advance the triangle. Asks Plec: “How can we service this moment between our characters that we really want, a Damon and Elena kiss, without getting the Stefan/Elena side of the fandom to give up hope and give up on us? And vice versa, when we want Stefan and Elena to have a moment together, how can we do that and not have our Delena fans outraged?”

This week’s EW cover story also features interviews with Vampire‘s stars — Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Paul Wesley — who talk about keeping the love triangle red-hot, where they fall in the Stelena-Delena shipper wars, and all rumors swirling around their real-life relationships. Says Dobrev: “The rumor mills were ‘Is Nina with Ian or is Nina with Paul?’ There was a lot of speculation.” Notes Somerhalder coyly, “Nothing has been confirmed yet.”

Though we’ve known since the beginning of this series that family is important in Mystic Falls, Bringing Out the Dead was an ode to family — in all its messed-up glory. For better or worse, these bonds tie together these characters, across the centuries, but the “family above all” credo raises the question: do you punish sins/crimes perpetrated by family against family or forgive the unforgivable? Whatever the final decision is, in the meantime, at least have a vampire-speed fist fight. Or two.

Family Reunion: How else to describe Elijah’s return than ‘delightful’? Everything about it — from the opening scene to his rendezvous with Damon to the Salvatores’ uncertainty of whether they could trust him to the final reveal — was pure Elijah goodness. He may have a new haircut, but he’s still our original Original. His plot is to exact revenge on his brother is not too far from Stefan’s: take away Klaus’s family. Despite treating them rather poorly, the thing Klaus cares most about is his family, and the threat of being left alone, abandoned by his siblings, for an eternity is a nightmare to Klaus, and Elijah knowingly tells him that to hunt them down would simply turn him into his hated father. As far as revenge plots go, it’s a good one. The Original siblings are all reunited again (save for the poor little dead ones, RIP) — but wait there’s more! There is a lot of explaining to do regarding Esther and the 1,000 years she was locked in a coffin (and presumably moved from one coffin to another, as her current holding cell was rather modern), but the upshot is: she’s alive again and she puts family above all. Instead of punishing Klaus, she forgives him for killing her. A family torn apart a thousand years ago is now giving it another shot. Cannot wait to see this — or to get to know Finn or Kol a little better. What is it about Kol that makes Klaus so reluctant to undagger him?

The Original Petrova: Thanks to a little walk down memory lane, we now know a little bit more about the originator of the Petrova line — Tatia. Unsurprisingly, both Elijah and Klaus were in love with her, and feuded over her. While I will certainly welcome a flashback to all that brother feuding, it was this detail that piqued my interest: it was Tatia’s blood that they consumed in wine before becoming vampires. Does that mean that Tatia had already been turned into a vampire by Esther, and it was her vampire blood in their system that allowed them to return to life? Or did things work differently the first time vampires were created? Is Tatia still alive? We clearly didn’t get the whole story, but it sounded like the battle over Tatia waged even after the boys had become vampires and that would explain the rather specific mention of Tatia having a child before this whole vampire business came about. It also speaks to the wackiness of Esther: she seems a little unassuming, but this is a powerful witch who has made some extremely questionable choices in her lifetime that put what she perceives as her children’s best interests above all else — like, for example, the balance of the natural world. What will she get up to now? If I were Elena, I’d watch my back around that lady.
 
And speaking of the lovely Elena, our heroine’s future happiness is once again the subject of some debate. At the endlessly entertaining dinner party, the pairs of brothers find their common ground: the allure of the Petrova. And like a good villain who speaks the truth, Klaus is exactly right about the danger the boys pose to her and the delusion they’re under that they are the one to protect her. The life Klaus sketches out for Elena (“Matt Donovan? Really?”) is probably closest to what Elena once pictured for herself. But, of course, Elena just held a funeral for that old self: whether or not she still wants a happy Mystic Falls family is not for a group of men to determine at an old-fashioned vampire sit-down, any more than it’s up to Caroline to make her father’s choice to live or die for him. As Elena says — in a moment that had a lot of people rolling their eyes at her hypocrisy — choice is all Bill Forbes has left. To defend Ms. Gilbert for a moment, she knew that taking away Jeremy’s will power was wrong, and she lives with having done the wrong thing to protect someone she couldn’t bear to see hurt (again). So when she says choice is all Caroline’s dad has, it’s not from a haughty moral high ground but from a place of regretting doing wrong against her family. (In my opinion.)

And farewell to Bill Forbes… I know this is a vampire show, so talking about realistic choices may seem slightly absurd, but what has made The Vampire Diaries work is how human and grounded the characters are. Their choices are flawed and human, and well, for me, Bill Forbes’ choice to end his life without a fight seems … unlikely. Do people really lay down and die at the prospect of turning into something they deem unnatural? Perhaps they do, it’s just so disappointing. Especially as it just leads to more heartbreak for Caroline. Is there no end to the trauma that Caroline will have to endure? Luckily for us, Candice Accola is more than up to the task. The quiet scene between Caroline and Elena on the porch was a highlight for me. Though her dad says that being human is all about the cycle of life, a parent dying before their child, I’d say that earlier moment speaks more to it: Elena and Matt and Caroline aren’t family but they are united through thick and thin, supporting each other through the worst despite any messy personal history. And it’s that same bond that we see between Alaric and Elena, made family through the strangest of circumstance, but now intrinsically linked. And if that link can be built from nothing, can it be healed once broken? That’s the question Bonnie’s wondering about as she pushes her mom to try. That blood-knot spell was more than a little symbolic, especially once the coffin’s contents were opened to reveal not the destroyer of Klaus, but his creator.

But as much as this episode was about family, that old chestnut — the love triangle — wasn’t forgotten. In a breakthrough moment for Stefan, who’s been denying he has feelings for so long, he actually says out loud what we all already know: he loves Elena. And Damon does too. Will these boys come to the same conclusion that Elijah and Klaus seemed to centuries ago — that the bond of brotherhood should trump the love they share for Elena? It’s so wonderfully complicated.

 Som sagt har jag fyllt år idag så uppdateringen har varit väldigt låg! Men den kommer bättras!

A FLIP OF THE COIN — After starting her day with a startling discovery of Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) latest indiscretion, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is frustrated to find that none of her friends agree with her on how they should react to the Original family’s internal power struggle. Once again caught up in the destiny of the Bennett witches, Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Abby (guest star Persia White) find themselves playing a part in a ritual to appease the spirits of nature. When Elijah (guest star Daniel Gillies) gives Damon and Stefan (Paul Wesley) a dangerous ultimatum that puts Elena in danger, they turn to Alaric (Matt Davis) and Meredith (guest star Torrey Devitto) for help with a plan that leads them to a terrible choice. Candice Accola also stars. Pascal Verschooris directed the episode written by Evan Bleiweiss & Michael Narducci (#315).
